Instagram Updates: Cast of Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo 역도요정 김복주 go on group trip to Jeju Island

Although Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo did not lead to a paid trip for its cast and crew, the swag squad still went on a group trip together. For fans, this is even better than a paid trip, because the cast wanted to hang out together after the filming using their own initiatives. They formed super close bonds and wanted to spend some time together.

“Cast members including Lee Sung Kyung, Nam Joo Hyuk, and Ji Il Joo, as well as the director and staff went to Jeju Island last week,” Nam Joo Hyuk’s agency confirmed.

When asked why the cast and crew had gone on a trip together, a source added, “Because the cast and crew had such a tight friendship as a team during the drama, the people who were free decided to go on the trip together.” I love the real life actor frienships that form from dramas.

Instagram Updates: Show Biz to show Marcus Chang 張立昂 and Ivy Shao 邵雨薇 interactions at the 1989一念間 Back to 1989 Good Bye Party

Show Biz is totally the best source of drama support. They just posted this teaser on Instagram about up-coming, never-before-seen footage to be released of the Back to 1989 Good Bye/ Wrap Up Party.  They'll be showing the footage this Friday 8th of July. This teaser picture, from when Marcus and Ivy re-created the prawn scene at the wrap up party, looks to be super hot! And what with all those rumours about Marcus and Ivy dating in real life, I, for one, am totally looking forward to reading between the lines and seeing what was really going on between those two that night!

Wondering if the stars of Back to 1989 are missing each other? Well, they definitely look like they are! The special for Back to 1989 aired on Friday night which means that both Ivy and Marcus are official free from their duties to promote the show...Of course, the actors never really leave their drama....or maybe even each other...

Just today, Ivy Shao posted a phone video showing the photo wall that created the backdrop for her character Ye Zhen Zhen's room. The photos are all of her and her co-star Marcus Chang (Or Chen Che in the show) on dates as their characters. In the drama, these photos are taken in the last days they have together.

Ivy's caption: Every year, (I) won't forget 1989 :(

She also posted a picture of Ye Zhen Zhen's room with the famous Nicky Wu poster that is referenced constantly on the show...with a caption quoting Zhen Zhen's words.

Ah, I told you these two were super cute! During the Coach Event headed by both Puff and Jasper, the two took the opportunity to catch up and take a fun bunch of Selfies, which Puff posted on her Instagram account...

Jasper caught sight of these photos that they took together and not only liked the picture, but also left a troll Jasper comment on it. He asked Puff: "Who is that guy on your right side? He's quite handsome..." 

And then he shared the photo on his own Instagram account, making it a matching couple photo between them :) It's so sweet. I near died when I realised that he'd also shared Puff's photos on his account!

Puff also liked a solo photo that Jasper put up of himself before the event. The comment she left on his photo was: "Your Face..." For those who are new to the Puff and Jasper Fandom, Puff has always liked teasing Jasper about his photo poses and faces. When they had to take photos as a drama couple for Pleasantly Surprised she would always jokingly tease him for being so awkward when he was posing as her photo shoot and on-screen boyfriend....It's good to see that things haven't changed between the both of them!

Of course, both Puff and Jasper also posted some cooler modelling shots of themselves at the event. They both looked very beautiful and I can't commend Coach enough for pairing the both of them together for this event. If you have to buy a designer bag this year, make it a Coach bag!!!

And if you don't believe that Puff and Jasper are still very goods friends, check out this photo posted by Show Biz. Looks like they were being their usual selves, whispering and joking throughout the event. Ahhhhh!!! I love these guys...And from the look of this Show Biz post and the numerous interviews and photo shoots that took place at this event, so do a lot of other people...hopefully, this means they'll have more projects together in the future! I also hope they'll have more time to catch up as buddies in their own personal lives :)

Instagram Update: Jasper Liu 劉以豪 and Sui Ling attend 釵 Chai Party Launch Event

When I first saw news about Jasper and Sui Ling attending this event, my first thought was..."What's a Chai Party?!" Chai Party, as it describes itself on its Facebook page, will be an artistic fusion event, creating unprecedented entertainment exhibiting dance, music, performance, fashion, interactive images and art installations. It sounds ultra cool and trendy, with a dash of the hipster vibes. 

The Chai Party event will be running at the end of March to the start of April and will be held at ATT Show Box in Taipei. Looks like it'll be ticketed, but Jasper is coming to support his friends, as he's familiar with a number of the other performers aside from Sui Ling.

Instagram Updates: Morning Call 輕晨電 The Unusual Extension of Dreams Tour 「夢的不正常延伸」巡迴演唱會 well underway

I know, I know, I haven't blogged about Morning Call's tour since they started...Sorry...I love my Morning Call and Jasper! But I feel an immense sadness when I see them touring and their fans are going to all their concerts (they're only touring in Taiwan, so if you're Taiwanese, you could make to all their concerts relatively easily) ...And I'm stuck here, unable to attend :( :( :( Anyway. I should stop moping and enjoy all the content that has been provided by Jasper, Morning Call and his fans.

The band play their last concert this Friday on Jan 8th. Lucky fans have not only been able to watch the performance, but have also been able to meet the band and get their purchased merchandise signed. Taiwanese fans have no idea how lucky they are!
