Sanlih's Thanksgiving Dinner brought together all of SETTV's biggest stars including pairs that had recently finished up on their series like Jasper Liu and Mandy Wei, as well as stars currently holding up the channel's ratings, including Megan Lai and Baron Chen. The session included photos, interviews and a sit-down dinner.
Fans were bewildered when they saw the cast of Bromance turn up for their group photo without Baron...But Megan reassured everyone that he was running late and would arrive eventually. The Bromance cast took their photos as a group and then Megan posed with the other Sanlih stars. She was not only a part of the line-up for the Female Sanlih star photo, but was also asked to feature in the male line-up as she was dressed as her character Pi Yanuo. It was kind of beautiful to see her there next to Jasper. Two of my favourites in the same space! (Also it really put into perspective just how tall she is!) Jasper and Mandy were together for some photos, although there was no major group photos for them because their drama had ended and it was just the two of them attending the event to represent When I See You Again.

And then Baron arrived. After a solo photo session, they called Megan up to get couple photos with him. The whole interaction was very cute with Megan jokingly running up to give him a hug and Baron breaking into a genuine smile when seeing her. And while I love Jasper and like Mandy somewhat, I noticed that they were just linking arms loosely for their photo shoot, like many of the drama pairings at the event. Baron, however, grabbed Megan by the waist, so their photos were much more intimate. He also seemed to direct her attention by adding pressure to her waist when he wanted her to look a certain way. There was also a moment where he looked down and then at her and she at him...and it just looked adorable, regardless of what was happening.

The reporters managed to corner Baron, and Megan into an interview...Although Baron is an awkward speaker at times...he managed to charm his way through most of it with the help of Megan when he got stuck or gave out major spoilers. The cutest thing he said about Megan was that he thought she was good as she was, even as a guy...And when asked if he had become addicted to kissing her, he gave a joking reply that he must feel that way a little because it was weird to be seeing her and not kissing her. The reporters then tried to pressure them to do it, but they both said...only during working hours. They also quizzed Baron about whether this drama had confused him about liking guys...And Baron pretty much hinted at some big spoilers about whether Zifeng knows the truth about Yanuo's secret...Though Megan saved the day by giving a much more eloquent reply about the value of gender acceptance promoted by the show.

The final part of the night was the actual dinner as documented by Johnny. In his Live video, everyone was eating and drinking happily with the stars of Bromance and Love or Spend sharing a table...And Megan and Baron sitting together, of course. Baron was showing off his drinking skills by drinking Chinese White Wine (which has very strong alcohol content)...and when Megan laughed that it was just water, he challenged her to drink with him...and to drink the way a couple would at a Chinese wedding. Megan, who never backs down from a Baron challenge accepted gladly despite initially protesting that she had low alcohol tolerance. Baron joked that he had to do this with Megan because it'd never happened between him and Bii. These two just killed everyone with their antics. More Professional and Social Media photos below...
