As a shipper, even when your favourite show ends, in your heart of hearts, you always hope that your pairing will one day work together or hang out or do something to show that they're still good together. Today has been that day where my wish has been fulfilled. Thank you Coach. I love you. If I ever decide to buy a designer bag, I'll go suss out a Coach bag first because of this.
So today, Puff Kuo and Jasper Liu attended a fashion event for the international designer brand Coach as ambassadors for the Coach Men's and Coach Women's fashion lines! And it was totally cute. They've both always had this playful and teasing charm between them, as they use to love playing games and joking around with each other during the filming of Pleasantly Surprised. While not as flirty as my other favourite drama couple Megan and Baron (But then again you have to ask yourself, which drama couple has ever been as flirty as Megan and Baron off-screen?!) Jasper and Puff have a very real and sweet friendship, with a lot of laughter and teasing.
In the interviews below, Puff and Jasper admitted that they haven't met up for awhile. In their personal lives, it's been alright as they only haven't seen each other for about half a year or so (They do hang out personally, as they have shared friends. Jasper knows some of Puff's cousins, while Puff knows some of Jasper's friends. Jasper has also been extremely busy, so I'd totally believe that they still have a good relationship, but he's just actually been working a lot. One of the last times they shared a public meet-up photo was here). But in terms of work projects they haven't collaborated for two years since the end of Pleasantly Surprised. The both of them only found out that the other would be at the Coach event the day before and got a shock from the news. In the morning, they'd called each other to catch up and then talked for a bit, but didn't realise they'd be working together so soon! Jasper teases Puff and said she probably couldn't sleep after finding out she was going to work with him the next day to which Puff makes a "Yeahhhh...riiiight" face.
It made me a little sad to hear them say they felt like 'Very familiar strangers'...but they just meant it in a working context. And furthermore, their interactions show that they're still very much on the same level of closeness when hanging out. Ah, I just love these two!
