New Drama Announcement: Jasper Liu 劉以豪 to star in new 2016 web drama 迷徒 Chloe

Just when I thought I could take a drama break, a press conference broke out the other day with Jasper announced as staring in web series 迷徒Chloe with  Nana Lee, Chris Wu, Enson Chang, William Hsieh, Crystal Mu and Emily. The series is like a second series, or an unrelated follow-up to another series called 迷徒Claire featuring Tia Lee and Xiu Jie Kai. I must admit I'm so relieved that they didn't pair up Jasper with Tia. That is perhaps my worst nightmare pairing. To be fair, I probably will be on a drama break as the official Facebook page for the series says it's to air in November.

Anyway, the story will follow a 30 year old woman, Chloe, who is strongly devoted to her job in the media, but is unable to move forward in her own love life. After working hard for 5 years, she is achieving her dream of creating her own program - a program purely dedicated to giving musical artists the space to perform and do live broadcasts. But just when things seem to be progressing smoothly, she is suddenly forced to encounter the person she wants to encounter the least - her ex-boyfriend from 5 years ago Wang Shi Qi. He has brought his only daughter home to settle back in Taiwan. Despite hoping to get rid of her past connections, she ends up befriending her ex. Chloe is also being pursued warmly by another guys such as, Luo Shao Yang. What will she choose for her life and her happiness?

Jasper will be starring as Luo Shao Yang (who appears to have the English name, Rex). Filming has already started with Jasper looking like his suave musician, Morning Call self! You can check out filming stills below...

To be honest, the drama's story line doesn't sound too different from the typical mid-life crisis female dramas, but I'm looking forward to a new Jasper project, with a nice looking cast...And Jasper also has to sing, which he has always been nervous about doing...Haha, you should have seen him at the Morning Call concert this year when he and Sui Ling had to perform French Film live! So nervous, but so cute! What do you guys think of this new Jasper project?

1989一念間 Back to 1989's Ivy Shao 邵雨薇 and Marcus Chang 張立昂 release cover of the drama's closing song, The Two of Us 兩個人

So I was watching Back to 1989 while it aired, and loved it a lot, but didn't have time to compile a lot of content for it. But it's been beautiful and I do have a tinge of regret for not being able to follow the content for when it aired or attending any of the fan meets! I will however backtrack and at least upload content I've been interested in for Back to 1989.

For those not familiar with Marcus Chang, he's very much a singer as well as an actor and has his own YouTube channel which you can find here. A few days ago, Marcus released a cover that he and Ivy did for the closing song of their drama Back to 1989 called 'The Two of Us 兩個人.' The original song is by Alien Huang. Ivy and Marcus also shot the music video together in Okinawa...It looks beautiful and dreamy. A perfect ending for their characters.

Ivy's trailer for their cover of The Two of Us 兩個人

In this world, not every couple who loves each other, can grow old together,
I hope that, even if you lose me, you can still find your own happiness,
Without the need to live in this world alone in order to prove the greatness of your love,
You only need to put me in your heart.

Marcus' trailer for their cover of The Two of Us 兩個人

I fell in love with a girl who doesn't belong in my world,
She said that she's a fox who has been domesticated by me,
But in fact, I'm the fox who has been domesticated by her,
Being domesticated is a very blissful thing...
I...am very happy.

Wrap Up Party for Bromance 愛上哥們殺青酒!

It feels like it really wasn't that long ago since I said goodbye to When I See You Again...and now I'm saying good bye to its replacement, Bromance. That's right! So soon. Maybe it is actually sooner though because the series is ending at 18, rather than the usual full Sanlih 20 roster and they're celebrating the end of the series 2 weeks before it's due to finish on air due to the Chinese New Year break. Still it has come quicker than expected.

Tonight celebrates the end of filming for the cast and crew who have worked very hard to pull the drama together over the past four months. It was great to see Bii, Baron and Megan joking around and Baron and Megan giving him a sandwich kiss, though I could also have done without Bii in those photos...haha, it reminds me so much of the When I See You Again good bye party! I'll miss these guys. Especially Megan and Baron, who's on-screen and off-screen chemistry has slaughtered me time and time again, and who I RPS, even though I feel like it'll lead to disappointment. But also all the antics that Megan, Baron and Bii got up to, as well as all that unfolded chemistry between Baron and Johnny!!! I hope the cast and crew get to run into each other again often after this finishes!

The girl sure is smart. She managed to bring a polaroid camera so she has little polaroids with everyone even though she doesn't have the phone photos with everyone. At least not with Megan. I guess Mandy took up all Megan's time with her selfies...hahaha

So far there's not many photos with Baron...I'm thinking that he's a little too drunk for this...Maybe he'll go bury himself in Megan's neck again?
