Pleasantly Surprised 喜歡·一個人 Japanese release leads to snippets of new additional content

Ah, Pleasantly Surprised news once again! I was super happy to find a clip on Instagram which lead me to this extra content which came with the release of Pleasantly Surprised in Japan. For those who don't know, Jasper has a big following in Japan (Why he has a Japanese stage name, Ryu). I plan gather up all the extra Japanese release pictures right here :)

Jasper: ...Yes...That is, Puff is really scary....Really scary? (laughs). Because she...er, Well, perhaps in the past I hadn't played a film role where the guy has to take initiative to kiss the girl. So Puff would purposely say, "You'd better film in a way that looks handsome/cool...You better kiss in a way that looks good. Looks beautiful....(Jasper is flailing around like) Well then how do I do kiss?! (laughs). I wanted to say what exactly do I do. I started to discover a lot of things I couldn't do before in the past....like placing your hand under the girl's ear, over here and slowly pulling her towards you....or lifting the chin...And I felt, whoa (starts laughing a lot) this makes me feel extremely shy! Even when I think about it now, I feel very shy....right...But I feel like it's a lot of fun (grins). A different role (laugh).

SPOP 華流 Magazine Update: Jasper Liu 劉以豪 SPOP 華流 July issue out now!

Just when I thought I'd probably never buy a copy of SPOP again (because I'm poor), they go and put Jasper on the cover again. In what looks to be his hottest SPOP model shoot yet. Don't get me wrong, Jasper is always endearing to me...but sometimes they make him dress up as if he was a clown or a kid, so I feel they haven't always put his full potential to use. Until now.

It seems like Jasper is up for the cover shoot as a result of his new show, When I See You Again 他看她的第2眼, which has been quite popular with the crowds and has broken 2 already in Taiwanese TV ratings. Whether or not Mandy Wei will also be featured remains a mystery, as I haven't seen any photos of her yet...But let's just bask in the glory of Jasper Liu, shall we?

Morning Call 輕晨電 Lyrics: Deep Sleep 一切都沉睡了 Translations

This is Morning Call's (輕晨電) most recently released song, Deep Sleep (一切都沉睡了). Since I first posted this, the band has re-released the song, with a change of lyrics, a film clip and a different mix of sounds. I kinda like the softer original sound of the first version, as seen in the live performances, but the new mix is not bad either. It reminds me of Radiohead. It's kind of like having a sinister high and feeling trippy (haha, did I sell that to you guys?)

I love Ella and I'm pretty sure I always will. She has such a lovely, genuine personality and is lots of fun. I also think she's made an amazing transformation from spunky tomboy to a pretty, stylish and cute little lady. Anddd...this month, she's the cover star of one of my favourite magazines, eat and travel log, iWalker. Check out this pretty summery lovers photo shoot with Lin Bo Hong!

I'm sorry that I don't write about Ella much in this blog...I suppose it's because she doesn't do as many dramas anymore. One of my favourite tomboy dramas of all times was Ella's Down with Love, Co-starring Jerry Yan...Actually, I'm pretty sure the first ever Taiwanese drama I watched was an Ella drama (It was Hana Kimi with Ella and Wu Chun, in case you were wondering). But Ella is such a beautiful star, both inside and out, and I'm sure I'll have plenty of opportunities to write about her as she develops her solo music career, as well as her S.H.E projects. While I liked S.H.E, I haven't checked out Ella's solo stuff yet. Maybe I'll do that!
