Pictures: Taipei & Kaohsiung fan meets for Triad Princess 極道千金粉絲見面會 with Jasper Liu 劉以豪 and Eugenie Liu 劉思廷

So after doing an intense interview session with different press and media outlets, Jasper and Eugenie met their fans in two cities. Taipei and Kaohsiung. to promote their Netflix project, Triad Princess. Talk about an intense week!

The fan meet attendees were lucky winners of a competition who also scored a bunch of Triad Princess gifts including posters - though I think some fans who were not winners could also stand on the sides and edges to watch.

Some funny moments during the fan meet include the cast posing as elephants for a photo (The main characters like elephants in the drama!). Eugenie Liu also played her character and demonstrated her flying kicks. Jasper and Eugenie talk about each other's personalities - Jasper said Eugenie is very cool and also very weird, like "Weird, weird, weird, weird." The interviewer asks Eugenie if there are any sides of Jasper she's seen that others haven't seen and Eugenie said she saw what everyone else sees - that Jasper has a real warmth about him. Jasper was asked if there were any moments that fans should pay attention to or look forward to in Triad Princess and he revealed that there was a scene where he would be topless in bed. He then laughed and said that he normally doesn't wear clothes at home anyway, causing quite a stir with his fans!

Kaohsiung Fan Meet

For some unexplained reason, there are much less professional photos from the Kaohsiung fan meet than there was from the Taipei fan meet - The only reason I can think of being that Taipei is much more of a main city and therefore has more press and journalists. But some of the hardcore Jasper fans such as the host of the Jasper fan Instagram, A Beautiful Day, was there to capture the moments beautifully. Pictures: Triad Princess 極道千金 Netflix & Media Interviews with Jasper Liu 劉以豪, Eugenie Liu 劉思廷

There was half a day of Netflix Press interviews as Triad Princess premiered on Netflix. Jasper and Eugenie are real troopers for getting through so many interview questions and games.

Apparently they also attended a fan meet after this, which is pretty intense if you ask me! Will post the fan meet elsewhere. These are the interviews below.

Pictures: Triad Princess 極道千金 Netflix Press Conference with Jasper Liu 劉以豪, Eugenie Liu 劉思廷 & Cast

Netflix likes to do things well and they have studied their Asian market and held the sort of opening press conference that other local channels like SETTV might hold. 

This was was actually pretty cute and funny - who was that interviewer? I salute them for getting the chemistry going with these actors. The first video starts off with the interviewer talking about Jasper's many Korean fans and asking him to say stuff in Korean, so he does his standard greeting. Then the interviewer teasingly asks him to tell them to watch Triad Princess and Jasper falters coz he's Korean isn't at that level yet! The interviewer talks about Eugenie's role in the drama as being the assistant/ bodyguard of a star and Jasper turns to Eugenie and says he wants to drink water. Eugenie is like "Eh, water? Where's the water?" Jasper says he's joking, but Eugenie and the interviewer still jokingly look for water for him. 

Then there's a part in this interview where the interviewer asks Eugenie, "There's a scene in the drama where Jasper Liu gently kisses your shoulders and ears. How did you feel?...How did it feel to have that done to you by Jasper Liu?" Eugenie is embarrassed about being asked such a question and funnily enough, Jasper seems to think the question is for him because he says his own name out loud. Eugenie turns to him and says, "What feelings did you have?" Jasper repeats in a confused voice "What feelings did I have?" Jasper clarifies if the queston was meant for him, but he'd zoned out and the interviewer says it was actually for Eugenie, but now she was interviewing him. Eugenie laughs and awkwardly answers that she felt "Hot, like her temperature was rising," which makes Jasper laugh out loud. Eugenie laughs too saying, "Sorry! What am I meant to say?" The interviewer then enquires if the actions really did touch her emotions and made her feel. While Eugenie is awkwardly trying to come up with an answer, Jasper comes to the rescue by saying, "Nah, we're just brothers. When we first met today, she punched me one!" Eugenie says he's lying...then Jasper jokes their relationship is more like assistant and he would like some water! Haha.
