Netflix likes to do things well and they have studied their Asian market and held the sort of opening press conference that other local channels like SETTV might hold.
This was was actually pretty cute and funny - who was that interviewer? I salute them for getting the chemistry going with these actors. The first video starts off with the interviewer talking about Jasper's many Korean fans and asking him to say stuff in Korean, so he does his standard greeting. Then the interviewer teasingly asks him to tell them to watch Triad Princess and Jasper falters coz he's Korean isn't at that level yet! The interviewer talks about Eugenie's role in the drama as being the assistant/ bodyguard of a star and Jasper turns to Eugenie and says he wants to drink water. Eugenie is like "Eh, water? Where's the water?" Jasper says he's joking, but Eugenie and the interviewer still jokingly look for water for him.
Then there's a part in this interview where the interviewer asks Eugenie, "There's a scene in the drama where Jasper Liu gently kisses your shoulders and ears. How did you feel?...How did it feel to have that done to you by Jasper Liu?" Eugenie is embarrassed about being asked such a question and funnily enough, Jasper seems to think the question is for him because he says his own name out loud. Eugenie turns to him and says, "What feelings did you have?" Jasper repeats in a confused voice "What feelings did I have?" Jasper clarifies if the queston was meant for him, but he'd zoned out and the interviewer says it was actually for Eugenie, but now she was interviewing him. Eugenie laughs and awkwardly answers that she felt "Hot, like her temperature was rising," which makes Jasper laugh out loud. Eugenie laughs too saying, "Sorry! What am I meant to say?" The interviewer then enquires if the actions really did touch her emotions and made her feel. While Eugenie is awkwardly trying to come up with an answer, Jasper comes to the rescue by saying, "Nah, we're just brothers. When we first met today, she punched me one!" Eugenie says he's lying...then Jasper jokes their relationship is more like assistant and he would like some water! Haha.
