Bromance 愛上哥們 Men's Talk Episode 11 Behind the Scenes Translations

Me: I don't want to translate anything for awhile. I'll leave the Men's Talk to the other bloggers. 

And then I watched the Men's Talk for Episodes 9,10,11. And I wanted to do them all because of Megan and Baron and their non-stop skinship. Damn you both for being so hot with each other. I don't know how I'll go for time. Anyway, if you like these translations for Episode 11, why not read the corresponding Show Biz Episode 11 translations too? 

1. Show Reel [From 0:18-0:37]
Megan and Baron are on a motorcycle.

They're pretending to ride the motorcycle (whilst probably being dragged along) and Baron turns around to look at Megan. They could probably kiss given the distance between their faces.

She breaks out smiling. And then he turns around grinning too.

-Cuts to Megan and Baron sitting on a motorcycle-

They're filming the Scene where Baron, as Zifeng, has his body around her, leaning on her neck and shoulders, instructing her about how to ride a motorcycle.

Baron has, er, different ideas on what he should be doing though...

He's close to her ears and starts ducking in to kiss her ears.

She's taken by surprise, laughing and pulling away playfully.

-Cuts to Baron laying on the motorcycle and Megan standing next to him asking him a question-

Megan: Deal with you? ---Could be translated as 'punish' or 'take care of you' in some sense...----

Megan: I have to deal with you?

Baron: Deal with me

Megan: How am I suppose to deal with you?!

Baron: Think of a way...

-Cuts to Megan laying on the motorcycle-

She sits up looking cool

Megan joking: The newest type of car sex

Baron comes over and shoves her down on the motorcycle as if to try it with her!

She starts laughing and he's grinning...

Baron gives her a hand and pulls her up.

-Cuts to Megan checking her phone-

Megan: After being recorded for exceeding luggage weight limit on a plane, who isn't a girl?

Megan, makes a funny girl's squeal: Ahhhh!

2. Filming the suit-tailoring scene
Megan in the tailor shop with the director going through Baron's actions with her.
Megan, as Yanuo: It's best if I do by myself.
Director: Ai ya, She can see that, right?
Director: Directly go for it
Megan: Right, right, right, right
Megan measures her own burst: Ah, 40!
Everyone is laughing
Megan, laughing: My own lies
Megan still laughing: 40!

-Cuts to Baron and Megan going through the bust measurement scene-
Director: Wow
Director [Green caption]: Baron, can you find it?
----Hahaha, I'm pretty damn sure they're talking about her chest---
Baron, jokingly making a face: What is the meaning of this?!
Baron: Are you saying I'm afraid I won't find it?
Baron, laughing: You even have to specifically emphasise this!

Baron pouting [aqua caption]: What is the meaning of this?!
Megan [Aqua and red caption]: No matter what, I've been left with some male's pectorial muscles, right?

Baron: When I'm helping to tighten (the tape) around you, you should make a type of...

She closes her eyes anyway.
Baron puts a hand in front of her eyes.
Baron: Nope
---Can I just add that he looks like he's really enjoying this?!---

[Red caption: Counting backwards...3...2...1...]
Baron leans in, holding Megan's defensive hands in his, and kisses her....Almost.

Megan senses what's going to happen and cowers.
Baron doesn't get her, but she's incredibly flustered and laughing and breathing hard, while Baron is grinning.

Director: Ok Baron first go back to this position
Megan, fanning herself still flustered: Ai yo...I'm going to die
Camera person: Got hit, got hit

-Cuts to Megan talking to the camera-
Megan, grinning trying to look composed: It's nothing!
[Red and aqua caption pointing to her ear: It's red to this degree...how is it nothing?!]
Megan pats down her ear.
Megan to the camera: Lots of matters can't just be casually activated
Megan pats her ear: Have a look at the time it's taken to decline (in redness).
Megan, looks relieved: It's declining...it's declining....
Baron is looking over at Megan from behind
[Green caption pointing to Baron: Aims]
Megan is grinning: No more (redness)...it's declining...

-Cuts to Megan grinning at the camera-
I think the camera person is indicating Baron might come back because she's grinning and covering her ears.
[Red captions: !!]

[Red caption pointing to Baron: Take notice]
Baron jumps forwards and kisses her ear.
Megan squeals.
They replay this 3 times.
She covers her ears afterwards, with crew members laughing.

-Cuts to Megan rubbing her eyes-
Director: That is...That scene was OK
Megan rushes to take off her costume
[Red and yellow caption: Rapidly escaping]
Crew member: Rushing away
Crew member: What's she doing?
Crew member: Rushing away
Megan [Aqua caption]: Not letting it get past 3! (?)

3. Megan and Baron filming the motorcycle scenes
Megan is acting as a worried girlfriend to annoy Baron.
Megan joking [Aqua caption]: Then have you brought Qing Yang here before?
Crew members laugh, Baron is just standing there out of it.
Megan [Yellow and white caption]: Then has Han Sheng been here before?

Megan still going on jokingly [Pink, aqua and white captions]: Then Zihan and Feng Jie do they know (about this place)?
Megan keeps talking silly stuff as her character and they play a scroll of words...
[Yellow caption pointing to Baron: Silently floats away]
---Hahaha. Not sure if he wasn't paying attention or was like....Shushhh!...---
Megan: Then the vehicle. The vehicle can just fit 4 people.

Megan: Or...
Baron walks away
Crew member: (He's) Walked away...
Megan starts laughing with the crew.

-Cuts to Megan doing another sequence to provoke Baron-
Megan and Baron are standing next to each other talking.
[Aqua, red and yellow caption: Offensive wave starts again]
Megan: Is it ok if we call it Dupi?
Megan is pretending to be girly, and I think, talking about naming the motorcycle while Baron is standing there coolly.
Megan: Are we keeping it at your house or at my house?
Megan coughs and then goes on...
Megan: Or you can be 135 and I'll be 246
Megan: On Sunday we can take it out again ok?
Baron [Yellow caption]: I absolutely won't get angry.
[Red caption: Calm and collected]

-Cuts to both of them in same position-
Baron talking to the camera [pink, blue and red caption]: This type of girl is the best

Still she climbs on the platform and puts one leg over Baron's body on the motorcycle.

Then she leans on the bike and looks into his eyes

Megan, motions to the sunlight pouring down: The sunlight is good too

Baron waves his arm lazily
---He looks like he's really enjoying this. Not that I blame him----

Megan grins and hops off.
Megan: The good thing about pinning against a motorcycle...
Baron jokingly [Blue caption with hearts]: Yanuo...Don't...

Megan grabs Baron laughing: I've already left!

Baron laughs: You already left?
Megan, making a joke that he's doing this with someone else: Who is that?!

-Cuts to Megan sitting on the bike and Baron standing up-
Baron [Aqua caption]: Lay down well

[Red caption: Domineering tone]

Baron [Aqua caption]: Hurry up

---Hahaha, is it just me or are these captions adding to the major flirting between Baron and Megan?!---

Megan is hunched, laughing nervously

-Cuts to Megan laying on the bike and Baron instructing her-

Megan looks confused, so he lifts her up

[Red and white caption: Listening to this mystery...What exactly doesn't he want?]
He gets up off the bike and goes towards Megan.
Megan, laughing: Do I have to be like that?
Baron puts his arm on her shoulder and moves her towards the bike: Yes. Hurry up.

-Cuts to Megan now timidly laying on the bike-
Megan lays down, her head now higher up, trying not to laugh.
She has her hands curled around her, close to her mouth...

---Hahaha, I suspect that she's trying to protect herself in case Baron decides he wants to kiss her there and then---

Baron comes and puts his arms around her, moving one hand under her head

To support her head and the other down to hold her waist.

Megan is laughing nervously and has moved her hands down as Baron looks into her face.

Megan to Baron, jokingly: Excuse me, just wondering what you want?

Baron moves a little closer down, holding her and smiling.
Baron: Now, this is right.

Baron is extremely close to her, looking down into her face...

---Haha, I can't help but feel Megan is super cute when she's nervous...Wonder if Baron thinks the same and is enjoying the fact that he's making her nervous---
Megan to Baron, still jokingly: Excuse me, just wondering what's up/ what do you want?

Megan has her thumb up to her lips...

She's also suppressing a laugh as she looks up at Baron and photos are taken.

-Cuts to Megan riding the bike behind Baron-
Baron: Actually, for these types of vehicles, they should design a type of knight's mask helmet, that would be good....

Baron: No one's even thought of it yet
Megan: They have!
Baron: Don't think they have!

-Cuts to Megan talking-
Megan, laughing: This is the time to take out those two eggs again
Megan reaches under Baron's arms and pretends to hold two eggs, jokingly as boobs.
The crew members laugh

Baron: Why would there be eggs?
Baron [white, aqua and red eye captions]: You want to put them on my eyes...How will I drive?!
---Haha, not sure if Baron's got the same joke there!---
Megan is cutely covering her eyes and looking into the distance. Not sure if she's listening anymore.

4. Filming the scene where Zifeng is worried about Yanuo and Qingyang says to let her have some time to herself [From 4:40 - 6:20]
----I can already foresee lots of jokes about Yanuo and Qingyang fighting over Zifeng---
Bii, as Qingyang: Just let Yanuo be quietly by herself...
Baron, making a silly, fake annoyed voice [Black and yellow caption]: I Know!
Megan breaks out laughing

Bii: If you know, then why are you still here?
Megan, jokingly yells out: I know, right?!
Baron pretends to be annoyed at Bii [Yellow and red captions]: Don't disturb us!
Bii, pretending to be hurt: Let's go.
Baron puts an arm around Megan and waves Bii away.
Baron [Aqua and yellow captions]: You go first...You did bring 200TWD, right?
[Red caption: Half-hearted concern (for Bii)]

---This refers to a long running joke where Bii, as Qingyang says he'll catch the cab home to leave the two of them alone in the drama, but as a BTS joke refers to Qingyang being a jealous first wife. It also refers to the joke Bii made about needing to borrow money for a cab ride in this BTS here ---
Megan: This time you don't even have to pay the money!
Bii walks away and pretends to look heartbroken and distressed and jealous.

Bii retorts Baron jokingly [Red, aqua and yellow caption]: Humph! Today I've brought a thousand dollars!
Baron: There's still the bus...don't you know how to leave by yourself?

Baron, referring to Bii jokingly [red and aqua caption]: That...that one (person) that speaks too much...

Megan laughs while Bii has a crushed look.

Megan jokingly to the Director: It's ok, let's just not have him in this scene...
Bii looks mock crushed
Megan reaches out: No...just kidding, just kidding!
Director joking: Very disgusting
Director: If it was me, I wouldn't be able to handle these types of attacks!
Baron, Megan, Bii and the camera people are laughing
Director: I would definitely face them both and speak coldly to them
Bii is laughing a lot

Megan jumps in: The more you're like this, then the more he'll contrast

Megan shows what she means by acting all soppy and attached and pretending to cry on Baron's shoulder.
Baron gets close and holds her and starts patting her.

Baron does an impression of Katie's wide open mouth and shocked eyes.

Baron: And then he (points to Bii) was on the side like this
Baron does an imitation of Bii's stiff semi opened mouth

Baron: He already has no way out, but has to...must make an expression, can only laugh/be funny...because everyone's expression is so exaggerated.

Crew member: Really?
Baron: And then there was this...
Baron makes Bii's expression again.
Megan laughs and Bii is looking at Baron mocking him with a glare.
---Haha, poor Bii always getting teased!---

5. Filming the crying scene after Yanuo talks to Zhe Rui Ge
The director is instructing Megan who is already working to make herself cry for the scene.
Director: I think mull over it a bit...
Director: That type of slowly developing...
Director: From sadness slowly into...
Director: That is, a sad emotional state.
Megan is nodding, looking really sad.
Director: Have to keep getting to that...And then he...

-Cuts to Baron picking up Megan by the elbows and then holding her, with Megan collapsing her bod onto Baron-
Director: Right, right, right, right, right...
Baron: Like this?
Director: Right!
Director: Hug like this

Director: Don't do it too early (the crying)
Megan sobs. Baron shifts his arms, but is still hugging her

Baron: She's already doing it
He has his arms around her head and is stroking her hair.

Baron laughs: She's already doing it
They part for a bit and Megan uses the tissues to wipe the shoulder of his leather jacket, which she's been crying over.

Baron teasing [Yellow caption]: We'll see how long she can cry for
Megan punches him playfully, but is still sobbing quite heavily.
[Yellow and aqua caption on Baron: Naughty]

-Cuts to Megan doing the scene, standing and crying quite heavily-
---I have to say she's quite a good actress...I never know how people can make themselves cry on the spot!---
Director: Megan, are you ok (for the scene)?
Megan nods, crying heavily.
Crew person: Rolling
Director: Come now...prepare...
Director: Come now...5,4,3,2...
Megan, as Yanuo, slowly crouches down crying. She's crying very heavily for the scene.

-Cuts to Baron, as Zifeng, holding her in an embrace on the ground-

Director: Cut!
Baron pulls Megan away from him so that he can look into her face.

Megan is still obviously worked up and crying continuously, despite the cut.
Crew member: Zifeng's back

Baron is wiping away Megan tears and she puts her head on his other shoulder

Director: Zifeng, just then you need to go up a step

-Cuts to Baron, as Zifeng, holding Megan, as Yanuo, with her still crying heavily-

Director: Cut. Good. This scene is ok.

Baron hugging Megan, lifts her up from her knees, as she's obviously feeling weak and still on a roll crying.

All her limbs are floppy and she's pretty much relying on Baron to hold her up.

He still has his arms around her in a hug...

He looks mildly amused...

While Megan is crying her eyes out and mumbling something totally incoherent.

Megan [Pink and white caption]: *&($%$#*!@#
Baron's shaking his head a little
Baron: She's been like this since a long time ago/ last time (the first time they worked together)

Baron: I can definitely tell you that

Baron: That is...
Megan, finally listening: What?
Camera person to Megan: Can't really understand you
Baron: Actually...Haha, don't you understand her?
Baron [Green caption]: Am I the only one who understands her?!
---Yes Baron. Now get together already---

Megan: I don't really understand either
Megan says sobbingly [pink captions]: I just want to remove my make-up first, Thank you everyone, I want to go home
Megan laughs, but then seeing something, starts to refuse and shake her head.
Megan protests, in a crying way [Green caption]: I don't want to!
[Yellow and pink captions:??]
Crew member [Blue caption]: Do you want to ice it for a bit?
Megan, protesting with a cry [Yellow caption]: I don't want to!

Crew member [Blue caption]: It's already swelling
Megan walks backwards sobbing [Yellow and green caption]: I don't want to!
Megan sobbing [red caption]: I don't want to!!!!

Crew member gives her two ice-packs wrapped in white cloth.
Megan: I don't want to...I don't want to...
Megan finally accepts the ice-packs
Megan, half laughing, half sobbing: This is like the last episode's behind the scenes footage. Du Zifeng...put eggs...how did he?...he took the eggs out...
Crew member: That's right!
They put footage of what Baron did last BTS ep with the eggs.
Megan laughs, sniffing.
---It's sweet that the one thing that makes her laugh and happy again is Baron acting stupid---

-Cuts to Megan, who's calmed down now-
Megan: And then you see..
Megan: Du Zifeng is like this...
Megan points to the distance
Megan: His back view is one where he's wearing a leather jacket
Megan: And he's going to go drive his speedy motorbike
[Aqua and yellow caption: A guy in the same style]
Crew member: He's left
Female crew member: Drifting to reach the exit
Megan jokes: Doesn't even care that I've cried this much/ to this level
Crew member to Megan: You ice that for a bit...
Megan jokes [white and aqua captions]: (We're) Probably about to break up now...
Crew member laughs

6. Filming the scene where they're shouting on the cliff

Baron, reading the script, mutters: How embarrassing
Megan, laughs: Have to yell out loud
Baron mutters again: How embarrassing

-Cuts to Baron yelling out his lines-
Baron, as Zifeng: You're not allowed to feel bad!
Megan, acting cute: What are you doing?
Baron playfully: Hurry up! Let's yell together.
Megan laughs [red and aqua caption]: Kill me and wouldn't want to
[Red caption: Also too shy/ too embarrassing]
Megan laughs and Baron playful puts an arm around her

Megan screams because she doesn't want to be pushed forwards.
Baron: Hurry up! Yell together!

-Cuts to Baron yelling one of his lines in a troll manner-
Baron as Zifeng, in a troll manner: Wipe away your tears and cheer up!

Megan is laughing so that she's doubling up and Baron is looking at her in an amused way.

Megan playfully yells [Green and yellow caption]: Please support number 21!
Megan [Red caption]: Elected!

-Cuts to Baron and Megan standing facing each other-
Director [Yellow caption]: ...A bit more happier!
Megan starts laughing and Baron shakes his head.
Megan: Really?
Baron: Perhaps just then she cried until she has already...
Baron makes a crazy sign
Megan chips in: ...Gotten learning difficulties
Baron: Sometimes when crying for too long...girls can become like this...
---Hey, hey, Baron...boys can become like this too! Have you ever seen it happen? I have...---
Baron [Pink caption]: And then they pretend to be cute
Megan puts on a fake cutesy voice to say Yanuo's lines: So your meaning is this is a secret place belonging to just the two of us?
[Red and pink caption pointing to Megan: Not sure what this means...get back to you]
Baron pretends to do a fake punch and sounds agitated: That's right!
The crew members laugh.

-Cuts to Baron and Megan being silly and pretending they're standing right on the edge of the cliff-

The camera person has obviously agreed to shoot them from below at a funny angle so it does look like they're right on the edge of a cliff.

They both wobble as if about to fall off.

Baron, pretending to sound panicked, says to Megan: Be careful! Be careful!
Baron: I love you....

Then he turns and pretend to have accidentally fallen off the cliff, flailing his arms and screaming.
Baron [Black caption]: Ahhhhhh!!!
---I think Baron actually falls down. But onto the soft grassy ground, that is---

Megan is laughing so hard she's doubled up.
[Aqua and yellow caption: Laughing until
Camera person: Taking advantage of her...
Camera person: The result is she's laughing very happily like this
Megan pretends to look down the cliff for Baron: Zifeng?
Baron sticks his arm out in front of Megan: Laughed really happily, eh?
Megan: Zifeng, are you still...
Baron comes in front of her with his hands full of grass and dirt, and looks like he'll cup her face.
Megan to Baron, challenging him: You wouldn't dare...you wouldn't dare...
Baron to Megan: Dare you to laugh now
Megan: You wouldn't dare...
Baron to Megan: Dare you to laugh a laugh for me to see

-Cuts to Baron and Megan side by side looking out into the distance-

Baron: This side has a lot of cows...

Suddenly he looks uneasy.

[Aqua and yellow captions: Don't tell me...The ground all over here....is all...(cow shit)]

---Hahaha, more than just grass and dirt, Baron---

-Cuts to Baron brushing crap off his clothes and Megan getting a make-up touch up-
Megan: It counts as him putting in maximum effort for the behind the scene footage
---By the way, I'm sure it doesn't mean that BTS fottage is planned, but that the actors try to film extra fun things like games and silly skits, rather than just have you guys always watching them practice for scenes---
Baron [Pink caption]: Just then, it was you who pushed me!
[Red caption: Shifting the blame]

Baron: It was all recorded, ok?

Megan looks mocking outraged at being blamed.

Megan: Holy

Megan, pretending to be shocked: What???

End of Translation. One of my favourite Behind the Scenes Men's Talk. So much real life care and flirting going on between Megan and Baron. It's hard not to ship them together in real life!
