Bromance 愛上哥們 Random Show Biz Behind the Scenes Short Translations

There are so many Bromance videos floating around that there's no way I could translate them all...but there are some videos that do feature little moments that I want to share with other fans...so today I've translated a few moments in these videos. They're what I like to call Super Quick Translations - literally just a few minutes or seconds for you to understand the importance of the clip...Sometimes they're funny moments featuring Bii or Baron...sometimes they're beautiful moments featuring Megan and Baron....Enjoy!

Please note: These are not meant to be full translations and I will only translate the moments I choose, so please don't make additional requests to finish the videos. I would if I could, but obviously can't at the moment...too much pressure will just result in me taking down my work. Thanks for understanding!

Show Biz Character Style BTS

This video was actually talking about the characters and their styles. So Megan and Bii explain a bit about who their characters are, what their characters are like and how they found their looks, or how their stylists found their looks, for the show.

I love the teasing between Bii and Megan, who are often pretending to be jealous of each other for Zifeng's affections. Here, Megan gets asked about why she's wearing a tiger on her jumper.

Megan: You talking about the tiger?
Male reporter: The tiger
Megan: I'm not too sure. I only want to say...please everyone don't take notice of any of the features that seem more feminine on my body.
Here, Bii jokingly makes a face at her.
Female reporter: The parts that are sticking out more
Megan: Correct. Because you know, there are still some places...
Bii jokingly makes a stab [yellow and orange caption]: Actually, if you didn't talk about it, you really wouldn't be able to see it (her chest)
Megan looks mock offended and Bii grins.
Megan pulls Bii aside with an expression like, you looking for a fight?! Hahaha!

After that Sean comes in and talks about how Zhe Rui's style differs from the others. Then Baron comes in and gets asked about how he found his look

Baron talks about Zifeng's style [4:12-4:50]

Male reporter: So Baron, you have to dress extra manlier? Or it's ok?

Baron: Inside the drama?

Male reporter: Yes, inside the drama

Baron: Hmmm, yes, a little bit more, I guess?

Male reporter: Talk about how you created your look/style/dress

Baron: Hmmm...Found someone to...Because (points to Megan) her style was discovered really quickly. Her style, originally, we thought...

Suddenly, for no real reason, he goes over and grabs Megan, holding her round her shoulder and folds her into an embrace while he whispers something into her ears.

Male reporter: They're telling secrets!

Megan can't hear, so Baron leans in to whisper in her ear again.

Female reporter: They are about to kiss right?

Megan hears and Baron pulls away from her, though still holding her by the shoulders. She smiles and answers him.

Megan, smiling: No

Baron seems satisfied and goes back to facing the camera. Megan gives him a suave nod.

Baron: Ok. So...She found it after filming. Actually, her hairstyle, originally, I also wanted to do that. But she had already done it. So I felt...

Megan interrupts him teasingly: So you're blaming me?

Female reporter: Yeah!

Baron: So mine...mine was harder to find. So later we discovered that it should be a more Western style.

What I liked about that scene was that Baron just grabbed her like that for no reason. They could have talked in code...or done what Megan and Bii had done, gone down the corridor to talk...but no, he had to grab her and whisper into her ear. He just loves killing us, that Baron Chen.

This is just basically an ad for the longer Show Biz Video below, but it has more funny caption commentary than in the longer version,

Show Biz Baseball Games, DDR and Filming Baby Delivery Scene BTS

I feel like this video is oddly self-explanatory even without translations - they want to do a Baseball PK between Bii and Baron, which is Taiwanese slang for death match/ competition match. And then they try to get Baron to do a Dance Dance Revolution round with Bii, but he's not a dancer (I can relate, can't dance to save my life)...whilst Bii is pro. Then they get to the baby delivery scene. I really disliked this scene in the drama...But I liked Baron's fake explanation of the scene...I feel like they should have done that instead! I also really like Baron and Megan's bus interaction

Baron "explains" what they're doing filming on a bus in the zoo [7:57-8:28]

Female reporter: What's happening today?

Baron: Today is...in a moment, at the area for ferocious beasts...
Baron [Yellow lion caption]: We're going to help a lion give birth

Baron: Right...At the area for ferocious beasts...And then, Yanuo is...Yanuo is there, talking a walk...And then there's a lion...Rushing towards her... And then I have to go over and throw myself at her...After I throw myself at her, we roll on the ground. And then I give her that electric look with my eyes. And then the lion accidentally pushes us from the side...And it turns into a boy and boy kiss.
---By the way, Baron just made all that up. Hahaha. Which is why the reporter says...---

Megan and Baron fooling around in the bus [10:38-11:38]

Commentator: Afterwards there were also some beautiful memories we could recall...Their emotions once again became deeper...

-Cuts to a side view of Megan and Baron kinda cuddling in the bus-

Megan is pretty far down in her bus chair and Baron seems to have his arm around her. When she sees the camera, she seems to playfully duck and make a face

. 

But Baron's really nonchalant about camera attention.  

He casually ruffles her hair as he moves his arm making her laugh to the camera. 

Anyway, she tries to get up, but is stuck and says something to him. 

He then ducks back down and lifts her up by her waist. 

-Cuts to Megan getting out of the bus grinning-

Female reporter: What just happened?

Megan: I just got stuck

Megan laughs: I couldn't get up!

Megan: Baron (Chu Chu) pulled me up

She does a little skip jump to show how she was pulled up like a carrot. 

For some reason I also really like them mucking around on the bus like that, his arm very comfortably around her. Wonder what they were doing together? She seemed really happy that he just pulled her out like a carrot!

Show Biz NG video of Megan and Baron BTS

The first video is called "Mutual understanding relies on a kiss to be developed." Basically it's a NG (No Good or Bloopers) video with Megan and Baron deciding to say the "Shut-up, Ah Chao" line in unison. Megan instructs him how to do it, but she still talks faster every time, with Baron trailing behind her, so they're not in sync. 

After the last go, Baron just decides they'd be in unison better after a kiss, so he just leans over, cups her face and pretends to make-out with her. Megan, though laughing, doesn't pull away and lets Baron have his way with her as usual.

The second video is Baron being troll about the food-sharing. Hahaha. Oh man. His facial expressions are gold. And he knows it.

Baron: I won't pull (its head), I'll just take it out directly

Baron: Then you bite it off

Megan: Yeah, I'll bite it off

Megan: And then you'll eat (the rest of) it yourself?

Baron, being a troll, starts making an expression like it's the best thing in the world. His eyebrows are moving and he looks like he's making out with his food.

Megan bursts out laughing, defeated and collapses on his shoulder.

Megan, yelps with a laugh: That doesn't seem too good, ok?!

Baron is still making silly, prawn-eating faces.

-Cuts to Megan talking and wiping her fingers and Baron about to get even more silly-

Megan, casually: Can (you) tone (your expressions) down a bit?

Baron: There's food (I'll eat)

Baron, being a total troll: Mmmm, The prawn tail that Yanuo has bitten is very, very delicious

They replay this scene so it shows twice.

He's shaking his entire body.

Megan: Then are you shaking while you eat...

Reporter: Why are you shaking your ass? Why are you shaking your ass?

---Notice that as soon as the reporter says this, Megan's eyes go down to his ass...Just saying...---

Show Biz Baron Chen singing his Bromance Cover of Bad Boy

Reporter: Hey, do you feel that the clothes  (Edison Wang) he's wearing today is too show off-y?

Reporter: Is he snatching away your stylish airs?

Baron: No...He's the bad guy

Baron, in English: Bad boy

Baron starts singing Bad Boy, a classic old Taiwanese pop song, but he inserts Bromance characters into the song. In Chinese, the lyrics rhyme on every second line or so.

Baron: Why do you have to train your muscles? If there's anything that doesn't feel good, you can tell it to me

Baron: Is it because I took Qingyang to play basketball...Oh~ no~

Baron: Although now I also have Pi Yanuo...He also discovered everything is all my fault
---I think this line would make more sense if he'd sung, I also discovered everything is all his fault. Never mind though---

Baron: But you also can't go find people to come hit me...Oh~ oh~

Baron: So it turns out you are this type of Bad Boy...

Baron bursts out laughing from his own hyperactive performance!

Reporter: It wasn't until you sung the last words that I knew you were singing Bad Boy...
