Lost Romance 浪漫输给你 Episode 6 Behind the Scenes Translations

This cast are so much fun that I've decided to do another Behind the Scenes Translation. Again, I don't think I have time for the whole video - it'll be the first few sequences Vivian and Marcus in bed, Vivian sitting on Marcus while he does push ups, Simon and Vivian at the hot tub and the first bit of when they film Aoran fainting (0:00 - 3:48). I may also translate the other bits with Simon as well. 

 

1. Vivian and Marcus in bed together [0:00-1:35]

Vivian: Being a domineering CEO, he invites staff to go to the hot springs and do spas. What is the meaning of this?

-Cuts to Marcus' reply-

Marcus: No...

Marcus: We...

Marcus: I...actually...

[Blue caption: Stutters]

Vivian, laughing: What are you stuttering for?

Marcus: No, because this...

-Cut to Marcus slapping his bare thigh which is sticking out from under the covers-

[Lilac caption: Abandons explanation]

Marcus: Ouch

[Brown caption: It really hurts]

Vivian and Marcus laugh

-Cuts to both Vivian and Marcus tucked in bed-

Marcus: It's just already, it's just you know...

Marcus [Pink heart caption]: Finished

Vivian: He's already tired
Crew member and Vivian, laughing: Finished
Marcus: I'm resting
Marcus: And she's over there looking at tomorrow's news
Vivian [Mustard caption]: Are you about to start panting?
---Haha, Vivian and the crew are jokingly implying that the thing they 'finished' was sleeping together...haha, I think Marcus is slowly getting it---
Vivian starts laughing
[Pink caption: Gets shy as soon as she finishes saying that]
Marcus: You say...
Vivian laughing: What are you even talking about?

Marcus pretends to be out of breath [Aqua captions]: Pant, pant
He bursts out laughing
Vivian, still implying it's happened: Your physical strength is very poor
-Cuts to the crew chiming in with Vivian to tease Marcus-
Vivian: Your physical strength is too poor

Crew member: I want to go find...
Vivian finishes off the sentence [Blue caption]: Qing Feng!
She laughs

Marcus [purple caption]: A woman who is in 2 minds (about her men)
Vivian: What?!
Vivian [Red caption]: You're the one who is actually in 2 minds (about his women)
[Blue caption pointing to Vivian: Not to be outdone]
Vivian: Who exactly in the script is in 2 minds?
Marcus, losing the fight [brown caption]: I was wrong
Vivian [Pink caption]: I purposely argued with him
Vivian [Red caption]: Because I want to end this argument with make-up sex

Vivian jokingly tosses up the covers to hide them both
Vivian [Yellow caption]: Come on!
Vivian [Red caption]: Let us get it on
Vivian tosses the blanket around and kicks, kicks, kicks to pretend they're doing it.

[Pink captions: Bang, bang, bang]
Marcus [Blue captions]: Don't just use this move only, ok?!
Vivian and the crew are laughing
[Purple caption: Bed tap dance type concept]
Vivian laughs hard

Vivian: Which move?
Marcus laughing: Since (the first time you did this in) the past, you only pull over the covers and do this bang, bang, bang
Vivian, laughing: What else is there?
-Cuts to Marcus talking-
Marcus laughing: I actually don't have any other moves if not this
Vivian moves to lift the blanket off Marcus' legs and slams his hand down on the blanket.
Marcus, laughing: Don't
Vivian laughs
-Cuts to Vivian asking Marcus a question-
Vivian: Are you wearing underwear?
Marcus [Red caption]: No
Vivian lifting up the covers on her end to see [Orange caption]: You're not wearing underwear?!

Crew member: How can that be?
Vivian to viewers: I will help everyone to check
-Cuts to Vivian doing hand gestures-
Vivian laughing [Red caption]: This side (of his clothes) has a scale
-Cuts to Vivian explaining to viewers the scale-
Vivian using her handspan as gestures to demonstrate Marcus' potential underwear/ clothing lengths: To get to the bottom of the matter, is it like this, or like this
Vivian does a long gesture: Or like this like?
[Brown vertical caption: Hand ruler expert]
Vivian suddenly pulls up the cover to look at Marcus's bottom half.
Vivian suddenly laughs hard [Red caption]: He really isn't wearing any pants, eh!
[Pink caption: Really too shy/embarrassing ~]
Vivian laughing still and pulling up the covers again to check: Are you wearing pants??
[White caption: Attentively gasping at details?!]

-Cuts to Vivian still looking under the covers-
Crew member: Are you wearing pants?
Crew member [Red caption]: How is it that high?!
---It's a weird way of saying it, but they mean, how is it that you can see that far up Marcus' legs to his short robes and still not see pants?---
Vivian squealing and laughing: You're really not wearing any?!
-Cuts to Vivian explaining what she sees-
[Purple caption pointing to Vivian: Continues to be horrified]
Vivian in a shrill, over-excited voice: Because I can already see up to this side and I still don't see any pants!
Vivian in a shrill, over-excited voice to Marcus: Are you, or are you not, wearing pants exactly?!
Marcus hops really close next to her and she pulls up the covers to look again.
Marcus: Eh!!

[Blue caption: I will help you all to check it out once again]
Vivian in a shrill, over-excited voice: Are you really not?!
Marcus, explaining why he hopped close to her: I thought you would be shy. But the result was no.
Vivian laughing: I'm not (shy)
[White speech bubble caption: I am Zheng Xiao En]
They all laugh.

2. Vivian hanging with both her boys, sitting on Marcus as his push up tester [1:36-2:06]
-Cut to Vivian sitting on top of Marcus as he does his push ups, while Simon is laying across the bed watching them both.-
Vivian: I'm afraid that in a moment he'll collapse and fall down
Vivian: And it'd seem like my weight is very heavy
Vivian to Marcus: Actually I'm helping you by holding on
Vivian to Marcus: Do you feel it?

Simon, being devious [Orange caption]: Don't hold on
[Brown caption: Hiccup gasp]
Marcus seems to struggle a tiny bit
Camera person: Can't get up, Aoran?
Vivian gently slapping Marcus: Eh, you...
Vivian [ Purple caption]: Work a bit harder
They laugh and Vivian gets off Marcus
-Cuts to Vivian now sitting on the bed, Simon still laying there and Marcus standing up-
Vivian in a cute voice [Orange & Pink caption]: I can be your training equipment anytime
She grins at Marcus and winks
Simon smirks and laughs
Marcus is grinning back
-Cuts to Marcus complimenting her-

Marcus to Vivian in his nice serious voice [Pink caption]: You're very cute
Vivian to Simon: Do you hear that? You should learn to do this
Vivian: Everyone says such sweet things (to me)
Simon to Vivian in a smooth voice: You're very cute

Vivian in a cute voice, laughing: I know!
Simon laughs
Vivian [Pink caption]: Did Chu Chu hear?

[Peach caption: This also has to be cued]
Simon, Vivian and Marcus laugh and Vivian motions someone (Probably Snowbaby, the Chu Chu actress) to come over.

3. Filming the part where Xiao En finds Qing Feng in the hot tub in the hotel [2:07- 3:16]
Simon: Vivian Sung, this person, is really...
Simon [Brown caption]: Not very virtuous
Vivian looks puzzled but lets him talk on

Simon: When Marcus was taking off (his clothes), she was that type of... that is... she wanted...
Simon [Blue caption]: To be first row for the landscape
Simon, motioning to himself: And then when it came to me?
Simon pointing: She told me to go there
-Cuts back to show what happened-
Simon is walking past a kiddy pool with his coffee and Vivian points to the pool
Vivian pointing to the kiddy pool [Orange caption]: Go play here in the water
Simon bends over to play with the water using his hands
[Pink caption: Very obedient]
-Cuts back to Simon and Vivian talking to the camera-
Simon: I feel this is...
Vivian [Pink & red captions]: My expression in a minute will be very real

Simon laughs: No
Vivian laughs too
Simon: There's already no time for that now, you know?
-Cuts to Simon talking off his shirt-
Director: Ok, go down (into the water) and take a look. Take off (your shirt)
Simon takes it off without hesitation
[Blue caption: As soon as they say take off, he takes off]

Simon gets into the water and the Director points to  the side of the pool where he wants him
Director: Lean your head here
Simon [Yellow sparkly caption]: A view of a successful man's back

-Cuts to Vivian talking to Simon in the pool-
Vivian [orange & pink caption]: From what I see looking at you, you're more solidly built than I imagined
Director: Come now...for this, you lay down here first
Simon looking puzzled [Purple caption]: ?
Simon [lilac caption]: Did she just compliment me?
-Cuts to Simon flexing in the water-
[Aqua bubble captions: Flex, flex]
Vivian: Yes, yes, yes..

Vivian [Pink caption]: You have grooves (in your body)
Vivian [Pink caption]: You have the grooves (in your body) today
Vivian: You are ok eh, ok, ok

Simon, pouting [Blue caption]: I originally had these anyway
-Cut to Simon explaining-
Simon [Green caption]: I normally keep (my body) on a low profile

[Brown caption: After he finishes saying it, he laughs to himself]
-Cuts to them putting the wet towel over Simon's face-
Simon from under the towel: Isn't it normally that you just cover the brow?
Simon moves his head laughing: It's falling off
[Pink caption: The more you look at it, the weirder it looks XD]
Vivian and the Director are laughing
Vivian: You look like you've been kidnapped
Simon shakes his head and lets out a muffled yelp as if kidnapped

[Black caption: Who will come save me]
-Cuts to Vivian folding up the wet towel and putting it on Simon's brow-
Vivian: Leave it up
Vivian: What's the meaning of this? Leave up, cover down
Vivian pulls the towel down and jokingly puts it over Simon's mouth
Vivian: How about this way?
Simon puts his head up laughing
Vivian: Over the eyes, lah, over the eyes..
-Cuts to the actual filming of the scenes-
Vivian as Xiao En: Extremely handsome Qing Feng
Vivian as Xiao En: We are together, right?
-Cuts to Simon laying in the pool with the towel over his head-
Female crew member: Prepare.

Vivian [Peach caption]:  (The towel being put) This way...Looks a bit sexy, eh
Vivian: I don't know why
Simon is grinning from under the towel
[Pink caption: Only Xiao En thinks so XD]
---See, I thought from the voice, it was a crew member who said the last bit, but the pink caption implies it's Vivian. So I'll treat it as Vivian saying that!---

4. Filming the part where Aoran faints in the dark - [3:17-3:47]
Vivian as Xiao En: Situ Aoran
Director: Move over a bit
Vivian as Xiao En: Situ Aoran, what's wrong with you? Wake up
Vivian as Xiao En: Wake up
Director: And then upon hearing a voice, look over there
Vivian [Grey and Blue captions]: Do you need a Cinderella kiss?
---Haha, I think she means sleeping beauty. Roughly the same difference though!---

Marcus is still playing dead and trying not to laugh.
Director: Ok, hurry to call an ambulance
-Cuts to Vivian trying to test her strength and lift Marcus up-
Vivian struggles: Oh my goodness
[Purple caption: Taking up all strength]
Marcus: I'll exert some strength (on my own part)
Marcus: Try again once more...
Vivian is still struggling to lift him on her own
Vivian: No, no...I wanted to see...how would it be if you didn't exert any strength
Marcus: Ok, I won't exert strength
Female crew member: No, you should...prop him up first

Half way through saying that Vivian stumbles and falls so that she is facing Marcus, almost touching face to face like one of those accidental drama kisses. Marcus and Vivian look at each other and laugh at the way she's landed almost on top of him.
[Pink caption pointing to Vivian: Relying on oneself to add additional scenes XD]
Vivian laughs hard: Acting a completely different scene by myself]

-Cuts to Vivian succeeding to get Marcus sitting upright-
Vivian as Xiao En: Situ Aoran
Simon as Qing Feng: Zheng Xiao En
Simon's character, Qing Feng is meant to get her to stop acting out of panic, so he calls in a louder voice.
Simon as Qing Feng: Zheng Xiao En!
Simon as Qing Feng, a moment later, grabbing her by the shoulder: Zheng Xiao En!!
Vivian responds jokingly to the fact she's being shouted at.
Vivian [Red caption]: Argghh!
Simon responds to her response with an equally loud [Brown caption]: Argghh!

[Blue caption: Comparing who's voice is louder?]
Vivian, Simon and the crew burst out laughing.

5. Taking a group photo which is a family portrait [4:34-5:00]
Simon, Vivian, Snowbaby and Marcus are taking a group photo.

Simon [Blue caption]: We've become an attraction
Vivian, laughing: Yep
Simon: We'll just keep sitting here
Snowbaby: Somewhat like two sculptures
Vivian: Very close like family...

6. Shit-talking with Vivian, Simon and Marcus [5:01-5:44]

Vivian in an equally silly fake shouty voice: Because I like you, ok?

Vivian breaks into a different dialect of Chinese, possibly Hokkien.

Simon: Every time I want to have dinner with her, she just becomes very quiet

Simon: It's just me that keeps talking
Vivian: I'm responsible for continuously eating
-Cuts to Simon talking about his dream dining scene-
Simon: Actually I really want to...
Simon strikes a posh pose: Hold a wine glass like this

Simon does cutesy hands on face pose: Or else be (hold my face) dreaming like this
Vivian: In a moment, we'll record and act out this reversed (eating scene)
