Baron spins around and Megan pulls on the ribbon and he does so. It looks good like she's actually tied him up, but then she pulls a little tighter and the ribbon comes apart again a little.

-Cuts to Baron now tying Megan up with the pink ribbon-
SPOP staff member: The girl at the front
SPOP staff member: And then the boy at the back
Baron folds the ribbon in half and then quickly winds it around Megan's neck. He then crosses it at the front and proceeds to tie the ribbon behind her body, leaning in towards her as he does so. Megan is laughing.
SPOP staff member: Don't do it around the neck
Reporter: Don't be this way!
Megan, ignoring them all and teasing Baron with a laugh [Pink caption]: You really do have experience!
---I feel like she was dying to tease Baron, but it was also a sweet way of letting everyone know that she was fine...and it was also protecting him from everyone's criticisms----
Baron, immediately: No I don't!
Megan is grinning
Reporter: Yes (you do)!

---Hahaha, this sequence feels a bit like a Pi Yanuo jealous girlfriend sequence. I love it a lot---
-Cuts to Baron talking to the camera-

The ribbon tying is one of my favorites because I love his "I'm innocent" face. He always seems genuinely shocked that no one believes him. It's absolutely adorable because it's so boyish. And while I do believe he'd never actually tied anyone up, you can kind of tell he was waiting for his chance. It was killing him, not being able to be in control. Ha! So his reaction to Megan's statement has a twinge of "protesting too much" because "You got everything in the position you wanted" was sooooo true. Plus he said she looked "kinda good" which leads me think he had thought about what he wanted and what would look best on/for her. He seems very interested in aesthetics and the way he jumped right in there, shows he had something in mind he wanted to try. Lol.
ReplyDeleteLol, Baron cracks me up because I'm on the same boat as Megan–I call BS on his whole "I've never done this before... I have no experience..." It's still funny, nonetheless, because like you said, he always looks shocked at people's reactions when he says it, but c'mon, the guy's such a troll. ;)
DeleteHahaha. I know! I love how surprised he gets, as if he's so innocent :P And I agree it's adorable. Like you, I highly doubt he has tied anyone up before...but he obviously thought it'd be fun to tie up Megan. And I really like this section of the BTS because he looked really tired before, but it was obvious that being able to interact with Megan got him right back into the mood for taking photos :)
