Even though I haven't written much about Puff lately, she's still one of my favourite Taiwanese stars. Why? Because she's such a fun and friendly presence. She's beautiful and classy and strong. I feel like she's one of the few stars that you still call sexy, although she tries hard to keep away from doing explicit shots (She's been strong to stand up against doing such activities in an industry that often forces women show off their bodies...and yet she still managed to pick up FHM's sexiest woman of the year award 2 years running in Taiwan). You can see that she's close to her friends, family members and cats from her Instagram. She appears both down-to-earth, yet savvy and cool.
As I've mentioned before, this year has been drama free for Puff, who has been doing back-to-back dramas and variety shows over the past couple of years. She's focused instead on her modelling, endorsement contracts and music videos. She's also done a bit of travelling to New York to attend a Mark Jacobs fashion show that she was invited to. And I guess that's where Elle Taiwan got the idea to do a 'One Night in New York' themed photo shoot for their December issue (But actually I feel like a lot of Taiwanese magazines have been doing Americana themed shots this year...remember Rainie Yang's Marie Claire shoot in August?) Check out these beautiful photos and gorgeous, grunge princess outfits. I love everything about these photos!
Here are some behind the scenes photos and collages put together by Elle Taiwan of the shooting process with Puff...As well as her photos when she traveled around New York and attended the Marc Jacobs event. More personal Behind the Scenes photos from Puff's Instagram can be found here.
