Been a awhile since I've done lyric translations but here I am translating a retro Chinese rock song, of all songs, 'Last Dance' by timeless rock gods, Wu Bai & China Blue. This is an older rock song that was revived late last year thanks to the drama Someday or One Day, which featured 'Last Dance' as it's key song (so important to the story that it's the song used by the characters to time-travel). On first listen it might seem like just an old song, but I think the lyrics are beautiful and full of longing and sadness in a way that is both poetic, but full of that old world rock coolness.
Different to my previous translations, I've listed the Chinese lyrics, then the Pinyin lyrics and then the English translations for each line. I've also included a few music videos - including a lyric video and a fan vid with clips from the drama.
