Morning Call's first ever appearance in a magazine! I'm quite excited as it shows their popularity is growing! Hopefully they're getting the recognition thay've long deserved as an Asian indie band.

This is the Behind-the-Scenes video for Jasper's SPOP Photo shoot. Which was technically also the first When I See You Again Photo shoot. I've always been slow at translating the longer SPOP videos and who knows when I'll get around to doing this one...but it's Jasper, so I'm going to make time for it one day. Just keep your eyes out for it!
Morning Call have been getting real busy with a re-release for their song French Film 法國片. The new version of the song is a duet between Jasper and Sui Ling, the main singer of the band. I've decided to make Puff's July Marie Claire shoot one collective post because the magazine has recently put out a lovely little interview with behind the scenes footage. She's just so beautiful! May translate the interview with time!
These photos are some of the most beautiful pictures of Jasper I've ever seen in my life. Jasper has such a beautiful, pleasant face and such a tall, striking figure. I also like the light, ghostly images of him taken in the night. Poor Jasper had to take these photos after a long day of shooting for When I See You Again...But his fans appreciate it!
Ah, the fan meet I'd been dreading to hear about. Why? Because I doubt I can make it to this one due to work commitments even though I really, really, really want to meet Jasper T^T (Well, meet him again. I have met him once before...So I really can't complain.) I really wanted to get something signed by him, especially an SPOP magazine (Or a Morning Call CD. Or a polaroid photo...). But I'll pass on the details and if you can make it...well, get me a signed copy of the magazine, ok? :D
If you're keen and able to get yourself to a Jasper fan meet, SPOP is hosting their signing event next weekend on Saturday 11th of July, from 1:00pm. (They start giving out numbers earlier, so you'll want to be there from 6:00am or so!) The fan meet will be held at Sanli Television Station (Old Zhong Road, Taipei Neihu Section, No. 159). Most taxi drivers know their way around...you give them that address and they immediately know you're heading to the TV station. You'll need a copy of the magazine for signing, but you can pick it up from any 7-Eleven...Amd they'll most likely be selling the magazines in line.

Edit: They cancelled the SPOP signing for today as a precaution to the typhoon warnings for Typhoon Chan-Hom. May be re-scheduled for tomorrow.
Jasper is really becoming a big star this year. If you thought he was starting to dominate with TV dramas, movies, magazines and music, now you can add another form of media onto the list because he is set to release his own photobook with pictures taken of him travelling in Kyoto.
These photos are amazingly dreamy, in the same indie style and aesthetics as those taken for Jasper's dreampop band, Morning Call. That's because the photographer is Jasper's good friend and Morning Call's photographer, who goes by the name Manbo Key. The man has an impeccable indie style, appealing to the soft, nostalgic, dreams of youth and forgotten memories. You can find his work instagram.
