1. Applying the Red Bean on Puff's face
For the red bean kiss scene to work, the crew had to manually apply the red bean to her face.

Puff: But it's so bigggg!!! (laughing and looking horrified at the same time)

Puff (still horrified laughing): It'd be best if I (accidentally) ate this red bean, I wouldn't even feel it happening (laughs)

2. The Red Bean Kiss NGs
They're filming the actual scene until the blooper happens...
Jasper, as AJ: Don't move! (runs around the table to take the red bean off KQ's face)
Jasper sits down and can't say his lines because he's noticed something...
Jasper: Stop. Pause. Can we do a new take? (Sees the 'new' red bean and bursts out laughing)

Puff: It's turned smaller? (starts feeling for the bean, concerned)

There's a big pause and Jasper leans in to kiss Puff as AJ.
He moves away and Puff looks a little pink...

Then bursts out laughing and swots him.
Puff: You're too late! (She's laughing so hard she's on the table...Jasper is trying to interrupt and pointing his fingers like...hey, I tried, it would have worked!)
Jasper [White caption]: She's (just) that one mole you can't get rid of! (pretending to be mad, but is making a pun)
3. Puff playing around by putting red bean on Jasper
Puff and Jasper are sitting, waiting for the filming to begin again, when Puff suddenly turns around and wipes some red bean on Jasper's cheek. She starts laughing gleefully.

Jasper wipes at his face looking not so impressed, while Puff is licking her fingers and still laughing.
Puff, leaning forwards [white, red and blue captions]: Sorry! I shouldn't be so childish! I was wrong!

She walks away and then Jasper, as AJ and Pei Lian, as AJ's mum, meet each other's eyes.

Vic pats Jasper on the back. Jasper still has a scarily serious-glarey expression due to being in character mode.

Puff, turning to the camera, grinning and talking about the scene: ...You know, when facing a person who isn't familiar to you...That person has already said, scram get out! But you still have to laugh. So I have to laugh a bit more happily.
Puff goes back into character laughing and nodding.

Vic, as Zi Xiang, shouting: Are you done or not?
Puff, as, KQ is looking worried.

Vic, as Zi Xiang, is just laying there on the hospital bed with his arms behind his head looking haughty while Puff, as KQ is telling him off.

Vic, as Zi Xiang, yelling and knocking off the vase and smashing it: You done or not?
They replay the smashing of the vase for effect.

Camera person: Just then, the quilt on the floor, what exactly was it used for?
Puff laughs.
Puff: I thought it would break and spray

Puff laughs: So the difference was a bit big
Puff: So this quilt was a safety precaution.
Camera person: They were afraid of it exploding and hitting your feet, right?
Puff: I was afraid it would explode and rebound and scratch (someone) or something like that. Actually, you know...
And then for some reason they repeat what Puff is saying when she turns her head....I think because she says something wrong...as in uses the wrong sound when she pronounces the saying.

It's so heavy that in order to shoot the subsquent conversation and kissing scene with Puff, he has to lean his tank on top of a wooden crate while he's standing.

She walks away and then Jasper, as AJ and Pei Lian, as AJ's mum, meet each other's eyes.

Pei Lian makes a gesture at Jasper, who is still holding his guilty AJ expression and doesn't notice.

The actor who plays dad is touching her name and about to jump in.

He flings arm and angrily gets off the bed to to stand menacingly over Jasper, as AJ.
Director: Stop
Vic is standing really close to Jasper, almost face to face. He puts his arms around Jasper.
[Purple and white caption: What is the meaning of being this close?]
Vic leans in towards Jasper, who is still in character as AJ.
Director: Pull that thing on your hand up.
Everyone: He did!
Director: Ok. Come now. It's (the scene has) passed. Come now.
Vic is slowly hugging Jasper.
Director: Film a close-up
Vic pats Jasper on the back. Jasper still has a scarily serious-glarey expression due to being in character mode.
Director: Ok.
Crew member to Vic: Aren't you meant to be fighting?
Vic, says in his usual serious troll way: Correct. After fighting, we need to kiss a bit. Hug a bit.-----hahahaha Vic, why are you such an awesome troll?!?!---
Vic lets go of Jasper and Jasper is cracking a grin.
Director:...2...
Dad slaps Vic, as Zi Xiang. He turns his head just in time, making it a realistic looking slap.
[Purple and yellow cound effect caption: Slap!]
Director: Stop. Is it ok?
Crew member: Good
Pei Lian starts laughing and giving her thumbs up to her on-screen husband and son.
Pei Lian: Cool! Matched (Timed) it very accurately!
Vic is grinning
Director: Who? (Made it) That accurate?
Pei Lian, pointing to herself: Me!
Pei Lian: Matched (Timed) it very accurately, right?
She's laughing and indicating that it was her handiwork.
-Cuts to Jasper and Pei Lian acting as son and mum-
Jasper is texting someone on his phone and Pei Lian is leaning over his shoulder trying to see who.
Jasper finishes without letting her see, puts his phone away and grins an upside down grin...while Pei Lian stops looking and moves innocently away with the same upside down grin!
Pei Lian: Begrudging (me now), right?
Jasper retorting: As if/ How am I begrudging you?
Pei Lian, swotting Jasper with a hand: Bring (her) back for mum to have a look
Jasper, looking amused and playing along to the mum's lecture as if he was a good son: Ok
Pei Lian: I'll help you to review a bit. See if they're suitable or not.
Jasper, bowing his head obediently: Ok
Pei Lian: If she's fillial to me...regularly invites me to eat dinner...then that's not bad.
She's laughing and Jasper is grinning, nodding.

Pei Lian and Jasper are laughing.

Vic who is still in character, taking off his top, makes a motion as if to rip his hospital top open and expose his chest...

The camera pans over to Puff, who is laughing, while holding her sunflowers.
Camera person: Why are you laughing so happily?
Puff, turning to the camera, grinning and talking about the scene: ...You know, when facing a person who isn't familiar to you...That person has already said, scram get out! But you still have to laugh. So I have to laugh a bit more happily.
Puff goes back into character laughing and nodding.
-Cuts to filming the conversation between Zi Xiang and Kai Qi-
Vic, as Zi Xiang, shouting: Are you done or not?
Puff, as, KQ is looking worried.
Director: Stop
Crew member: Is it ok?
-Cuts to camera person interviewing Vic in between scenes-
Camera person: Today, you keep acting your role of suddenly having an emotional explosive episode (throwing something and getting up from the bed)
Vic: That's right
-Cuts to Vic explaining to the camera what they'e been filming-
Vic, in his hospital costume sitting on the hospital bed: These last couple days, I've veen continuously been crazily and angrily throwing things.
Vic, making a hand movement: Throwing
-Cuts to the filming of the throwing scene-
[Pink and White caption pointing to the blanket: The quilt that will catch (the pieces of) the flower vase]
Vic, as Zi Xiang, is just laying there on the hospital bed with his arms behind his head looking haughty while Puff, as KQ is telling him off.
Vic, as Zi Xiang, yelling and knocking off the vase and smashing it: You done or not?
They replay the smashing of the vase for effect.
Director: Stop!
Crew member: Is it ok?
Director: Good. It's passed.
Vic is grinning, no longer in character and amused by the smash.
-Cuts to camera person interviewing Puff-
Camera person: Just then, the quilt on the floor, what exactly was it used for?
Puff laughs.
Puff: I thought it would break and spray
Puff makes a steep fall motion.
Puff: ...It would be like this. (Puff then makes a wider angle). The result was that it was like this.
Puff laughs: So the difference was a bit big
Puff: So this quilt was a safety precaution.
Camera person: They were afraid of it exploding and hitting your feet, right?
Puff: I was afraid it would explode and rebound and scratch (someone) or something like that. Actually, you know...
And then for some reason they repeat what Puff is saying when she turns her head....I think because she says something wrong...as in uses the wrong sound when she pronounces the saying.

9. Jolin talking to camera about getting Jasper's present
[Pink and white caption on Jolin: Everybody painstakingly prepared Jasper's birthday present.]
Jolin: This is before Jasper's birthday. We saw a social media post he made of a photo of him performing in Hong Kong (with his band Morning Call). But there was a photo he posted of a (musical) effects tool that had been damaged. Looked like he couldn't let go of it because he really liked this effects tool. This tool is also of a really old generation/ model. So I went on social media, on Facebook, and asked friends if they have any friends that play in a band (or play music) with older instruments. Did they have this musical effects tool?
[Purple and white caption that pops up: He's Very determined/ has heart!] ----here, I have to add, Jolin is such a sweetie -----
Jolin, clicks his fingers: The result? Picked up one. Heaven does not disappoint someone who tries (-------he says something along those lines and then adds a Chinese saying-----) We've finally found it.
---Cuts to the actual day of presenting the present---
Jolin walks up to Jasper with his script.
Jasper: He's absolutely up to something [Black caption on Jasper: Very suspicious/ paranoid]
Others: Why is he up to something?
Jolin: What am I up to?
Jasper: Today, when "my brother" came...when we were filming Zhi Xiang (Ah Jie's borther) coming out of the hospital, (Jasper noticed Jolin there) I said, "He's come here too? He doesn't have a scene today" (referring to Jolin). And then, he started...he started no being able to conceal!
Jolin: (laughing pretty hard) [yellow caption on Jolin: I don't know how to tell lies!] The other cast members are bagging him for not hiding the secret well
Jasper, smiling: So right...why is he here? What is it that he can't hide very well? He can't hide his crafty scheme!
Jolin: Er, Vic has another scene at night?
Jasper [White caption]: You guys think I don't have a watch?! (They all laugh as it's broad daylight)
--Cuts to the cast giving Jasper the present---
[Orange caption: Hope you won't dislike something that is inflated/filled with air!]
Others to Jasper: What do you think it is? Guess!
Puff, in the background: It needs to inflated/filled with air...
[Purple caption: Even getting a gift requires you to think, Jasper!]
Others (Maybe Bao Yu aka Bao Zhu Jie): (in the background) And then it can soothe your soul...
Jasper: I think this should be something I really need.
Everyone: yeaahh...okay...
Puff: Are you going to cry?
Jasper: (laughs) No, la! (Smiling, he whips out a pair of scissors and starts cutting slowly ----here I was laughing so hard coz he's being so troll about the crying and the cutting----)
Others (in pleading voices): Don't be this wayyyy (hahaha, they want him to cry)
Make-up artist [Blue caption]: If he cries it'll be a bit difficult to fix his make-up.]
Jasper in response to make-up artist: Good! (They go back to making him guess the present)
One of the cast: It (the present) should be able to change sounds.
One of the cast: It has sounds that can be changed
Jasper: Sounds very luxurious...So to sum up (counts with his fingers), it needs to be inflated [Blue caption], has many slots [pink caption], has many choices of sounds [yellow caption].

End of translation. My favourite sections? When Puff called Jasper "hot" in his diving suit, pretty much every scene with Vic Chen, who plays Jasper's brother...and the crew giving Jasper his gift. Isn't it funny that every member of the crew wants a kiss from Jasper? :D
