Happy Birthday to Deyn Li, who played Xiao Qiang on Pleasantly Surprised and is currently playing Zhong Da Yu on When I See You Again. So happy that he celebrated his birthday with his Pleasantly Surprised friends! There's not really a group picture with everyone there, but this first picture is pretty close to it...Just look at Puff and Yorke's crazy faces. Also nice to see Sean (who played Head chef) and Pei Lian (who played Jasper's mum) during this catch up!
While not in the first picture, Jolin was also there for his band mate and friend's birthday...No sign of Jasper, Lene or Vic, though Jasper left a birthday message for Deyn on social media. I'd say that he's been super busy shooting episodes for When I See You Again...and visiting Singapore on promotional stuff for the drama! To be fair, Jasper has also been M.I.A with Morning Call catch ups, so he probably just didn't have time to make it to this one. But what a crew turn out!

Isn't the Pleasantly Surprised crew just great? I don't know if I'll ever be able to get over the cast. They're such a wonderful family, even though the drama concluded about a year ago. Hopefully they'll have many more chances to catch up with each other soon!
